Laura Mercier TLSP

The new Laura Mercier TLSP…

The Loose Powder that now only sets your makeup for all-day wear. but saves your skin from oily patches. The one thing you never want to forget to apply and totally within your budget starting at $40. As the newest member of the oily skin community…this really helps alot.

Makeup Bag

I feel like my makeup bag never stops growing… Thanks to Birchbox, Nordstrom, and all the free miniatures that accumulate from Sephora points…(which btw I just hit VIB status so YAY free shipping)

With Sephora rewards system you have access to points for every dollar spent, surprise double point days, free beauty classes, AND for your 2017 birthday you get to chose between a tarte or Caudalie mini set! #yessssss #JulyHurryUp

But I’m a VIB Insider (Very Important Beauty) and I additionally get seasonal gifts, early new-product access and sale alerts, and private event invitations…which I haven’t been able to make it to yet.

So… amid this plethora of makeup taboo I can pick out the products I take with me everywhere I go, plus a really cool velvet choker…

because why not

This specific Dooney and Bourke makeup bag I’ve had for years and love.

It is the only one that’s survived longer than a 6 months due to its shape and vinyl inside.

I got it at an outlet in Florida but here’s another one for sale online.

For Starters:

1. There is nothing greater than Smashbox’s photo finish primer, unless you know about it’s cheaper twin – e.l.f. tone adjusting primer. $50 or $6, you chose. I got the best of both worlds.

2. Dr. Brandt Needles No More 3-D volumizing mask I will buy this time and time again

3. Clinique eye cream

4. Benefit Pore-fessional to minimize the appearance of pores… yes

5. Urban Decay eye primer (I get mine super cheap at Nordstrom Rack)

Yves Saint Laurent makes some exquisite makeup.

Touche Eclat Radiance Awakening Foundation

Touche Eclat Radiant Touch for under eye area

I started using Bare Minerals ten years ago at age 14 and I just quit the skincare to try something new.

Satisfied with this Neutrogena mineral sheer foundation powder.

Full coverage, long-lasting NARS concealer.

Laura Mercier brush

IT Cosmetics brush

Tarteist PRO GLOW Highlighter

Too Faced Bronzer

bareMinerals Gold Gossamer

While I’m still learning the ropes of the perfect highlighter application for my face shape, I still like to put it in the main areas like the crest of my cheekbones, tip of my nose, eyebrow arch, and occasionally my cupids bow.

I’ll get there one day =)
